Each employee is individually assessed to establish their specific training requirements as a result of this 100% of our workforce is registered with Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card scheme; 100% of our plant operators possess either CPCS or NPORS qualifications there in their respective categories, endorsed with National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs).
A regular review of our training and development plan enables us to maintain high training standards.
Our safety ethos revolves around the principal of ensuring our workforce gets home safely. To support this, we have an in-house full-time dedicated Health and Safety Director who routinely measures our Health and Safety performance. Monthly site Health and Safety Inspections result in scores that are reported in our monthly project league table where successes can be readily reviewed and awarded; this practice supports our continual drive towards zero accidents and incidents.
To ensure that our policies and procedures are to the highest standard possible, we undertake regular reviews and updates and we have this audited by external bodies such as CHAS and SMAS where we have shown compliance in line with the SSIP core criteria and UK H&S legislation.
